Will attended The University of Texas at Austin graduating in 1998 with B.A and B.B.A degrees in Plan II and Honors Business. He worked for two years in Merrill Lynch’s energy & power investment banking division and two years for The CapStreet Group LLC, a middle-market generalist investment firm. After obtaining an M.B.A from Rice University in 2005, Will joined Quintana Minerals Corporation and co-founded Quintana Capital Group and its affiliated investment partnerships. His activities were primarily in oilfield services, electric power generation development and midstream (including board service to Genesis Energy LP, a crude oil MLP). In 2011, Quintana Infrastructure & Development LLC was organized as a holding and management company. QID and its affiliates have exited investments in water disposal services, oilfield chemical distribution and gas-fired peaking power generation. Currently, Will has management responsibilities for Great Northern Midstream LLC and Tenawa Resource Holdings LLC, along with board service to several of Quintana’s affiliated companies.
Over the last two decades, Greg has founded multiple Midstream businesses ranging from CDM MAX to Next Generation Processing. Greg has also lead various engineering groups and projects associated with Gas Processing and NGL Extraction; including the design and construction of CDM MAX’s 300 MMcfd Grand Chenier cryogenic gas plant in South Louisiana and the Boil Off Liquefaction Unit at Freeport LNG. While serving as Head of Texas Eastern’s Gas Processing division, Greg was responsible for the engineering, operations and commercial activities for all of the companies gas processing plants on Texas Eastern’s vast interstate pipeline system. Greg is also holding or has pending several US Patents in NGL extraction.
Vice President - Operations
Brad has over 33 years of experience in the oil & gas industry including facility design & construction, production operations, gas gathering & processing, NGL extraction & fractionation, regulatory affairs, intellectual property protection and technology licensing. Brad’s midstream experience with OXY, Conoco and Trident NGL Inc. includes operation of 300+ producing properties and the design & construction of gas gathering systems, pipelines and compressor stations for major development projects in Kansas and West Virginia, as well as operating NGL extraction plants, pipelines and fractionation facilities. Prior to joining Tenawa, Brad served as Sr. Counsel at Halliburton and as Chief Patent Counsel at KBR responsible for intellectual property protection and technology licensing within the exploration & production, gas processing and petrochemical industries. Brad received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wyoming and a J.D. from the University of Houston. He is licensed to practice law in Texas and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Texas and Kansas.
Carter joined Quintana in August 2011 as a Vice President. He is responsible for investment and operating activities with regard to energy, industrial infrastructure and generalist middle-market opportunities. Prior to joining Quintana, Carter was a Vice President at J.F. Lehman & Company (2006 to 2011), a New York-based private equity firm focused on aerospace, defense and industrial investments. At J.F. Lehman, he was responsible for sourcing, executing and managing portfolio investments. Carter previously worked for The CapStreet Group (2000 to 2002), a middle-market private equity firm in Houston, TX and Cardtronics, Inc. (2002 to 2004), a prior CapStreet investment that he helped execute and manage while at the firm. He began his career in corporate restructuring with Arthur Andersen (1998 to 2000). Carter currently serves on the Board of Directors of Frontier Utilities, LLC and Enstone, LLC. He also serves on the University of Texas System Chancellor’s Council Centurions’ Committee. Carter received a B.B.A. in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin (1998) and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School (2006), where he graduated with Beta Gamma Sigma honors.
David joined Quintana as Director in July 2011. Prior to joining Quintana, David was a Director within BNP Paribas (formerly Fortis Bank) energy trading group where he had responsibility for originating and executing structured transactions which utilized the full complement of the firm’s financial services products. In this role, David led or co-led a number of significant power, gas and crude oil transactions. Prior to joining BNP Paribas, David was an Associate Director at Arroyo Energy Investors, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bear Stearns that made principal investments in energy-related assets. During his tenure with Arroyo, David either led or co-led transactions which netted more than $120 million in profits for Arroyo. Prior to joining Arroyo, David was a Manager at American Electric Power with responsibility for M&A/business development activity and corporate finance. In those roles, David was materially involved in acquisitions within the power, coal and midstream space which totaled greater than $1.3 billion. David is currently on the Board of Frontier Utilities LLC. David’s educational background includes a B.S. in Finance from the Ohio State University, and a M.B.A. from Georgia State University with a concentration in Finance.
